How to set yourself Free
If we have implicit faith and can fearlessly and FIERCELY pour out the impurities we had “allowed” people, places and things to dump in, we can then and only be filled with the light that shines from within us.
Going back in history,about 5 years back,when I was working in the media industry,I remember having a long discussion with my mentor Swami Shailendra Saraswati ji.That was the time when I was contemplating to leave the job and move to Himalayas seeking Vanprastha.During the discussion, I complained to Swami ji that I’ve been feeling (and expressing) a bit of anger to which he explained that we are our most authentic, raw and transparent when we are angry; there is no separate between a person and their anger. That statement gave me relief but does this mean that I should express more anger, in order to be more me?
