Ayurveda Nursing Jobs 2026: GSSSB Recruitment Deadline Near, Check How to Apply

The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal has announced that the online application process for Staff Nurse (Ayurveda), Class-3 posts will close on April 13, 2026. Candidates aiming to build a career under the Director of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Department are advised to complete their applications before the deadline.
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 90 vacancies for qualified Ayurvedic nursing professionals.
Eligibility Criteria and Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Ayurvedic Nursing from the Gujarat Ayurvedic Nursing Faculty. Additionally, candidates must be registered with the Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System Medicine at the time of application.
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi are also mandatory requirements.
As per Gujarat Civil Services rules, candidates must be Indian citizens or meet residency criteria.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The age limit for applicants as of April 13, 2026, is 18 to 45 years.
Age relaxation benefits are applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, EWS categories, as well as women and ex-servicemen, in accordance with government norms.

Candidates must apply online through the official OJAS portal by selecting advertisement number 377/202526.

Filling out the online application form with accurate details
Uploading a photograph and signature in JPG format
Verifying all information before final submission
The application fee is ₹500 for general category candidates and ₹400 for reserved categories, including SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, women, physically handicapped candidates, and ex-servicemen.
Payments must be made online, and candidates are required to retain the receipt. The last date to pay the application fee is April 16, 2026.
Salary Structure and Job Terms
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹40,800 for the first five years. After successful completion of this period, the pay scale will be revised to ₹29,300 (Level-5), as per Gujarat government guidelines.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The recruitment process will consist of two stages:
Part 1 (90 marks): Reasoning, quantitative aptitude, Constitution of India, general awareness, and computer knowledge
Part 2 (120 marks): Technical subjects related to Ayurveda and general nursing
Candidates must secure at least 40 percent marks in both sections to qualify. The exam will also include negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
